Working with Katrina impacted me in ways that surpassed my initial needs and goals.
When I first connected with Katrina I was depleted, exhausted, drained…Over the course of our coaching sessions, I could feel my energy, zest, sense of humour and optimism coming back.
What surprised me, was that I had certain mindsets and beliefs that were underlying my habits that I didn’t even know were there, but they were obstructing me from living my true self and my best life.
I am stronger, more confident, more energized and, definitely, more balanced as a result of my coaching experience with Katrina.
I am excited to circle back one year from my first session just to check in and, potentially, get a “reboost” or maybe just celebrate what I predict will be ongoing growth.
Katrina uses a gentle, insightful and wise approach through questioning, encouragement and mirroring. This helps her clients to self-reflect, adapt, adjust and re-envision who they want to become or to reclaim the parts of themselves they may have forgotten or buried. The result is that they can let go of constraints and burdens and be free to live a lighter, more joyful life of their choosing.
–> What is the biggest difference that you’ve experienced from working with me?
There are so many differences I’ve noticed in my time with Katrina but I think one of the biggest is being able to step back and ask myself what is that I want when dealing with a situation, allow myself to answer truthfully and really advocate for my needs. I’ve done a lot of work in the past on this area but with this coaching and the homework I’ve done, I feel that I’ve really reached a breakthrough where I can start showing up and honouring myself. I grasped the concepts before but there was always something still holding me back. With Katrina, I felt she really challenged me to push through to what’s behind my ‘issues’ while also being really heard and understood.
–> How has your mindset changed over the past few weeks?
I’ve always been interested in self-discovery but the way the coaching was formatted really helped me to dig deep and consider how my habits and behaviour have shaped my reality. I think I have become more aware of my responses and reactions which has helped me to pause and ensure I am making conscious decisions, not reacting on instinct or habit. It isn’t something I’ve mastered by any means but I am picking up on things quicker and working on how I could have handled it differently were I behaving the way I want to. I’ve learned that I am responsible for my feelings and responses and am committed to holding myself accountable to them, good or bad. I feel more able to tackle the obstacles that have been holding me back than I did before the coaching and can see more clearly where I want to go.
–> What one aspect of my coaching made the biggest impact?
I went into this coaching looking for some guidance on how to communicate more effectively and feeling lost in my career choices. This has gone so far beyond what I anticipated to gain. It took me back to the core issues I’ve been struggling with which has better positioned me to deal with so many aspects of my life including my career and relationship with myself and others. I was admittedly hesitant about signing up but am so thankful for it and would, without a single doubt, recommend it to anyone. It truly has impacted my life for the better. Thank you!
When I was promoted to my current role, I had the pleasure of being coached by Katrina Murphy for the first few months on the job. My company had just come through the pandemic, and we were struggling with transitioning from 100% work-from-home to a hybrid working model.
I had expectations about coaching from prior jobs where I would sit in a room with people in similar circumstances, and we would discuss and work on issues we were facing. The coach would moderate the discussion and typically give us homework to bring to the next session.
Katrina’s coaching was completely different. It was one on one online discussions about anything that was on my mind. She gave me the opportunity to voice frustration, joy, and current challenges in a safe environment with no judgment. We talked about work but also spent a great deal of time talking about my relationships with my children and extended family. She gave me the freedom to take the conversation anywhere I needed while continually providing valuable insights for me to ponder.
I highly recommend Katrina as a coach. She cares about my success but ultimately wants me to be a better person.
Thank you, Katrina, for all you gave me.
I honestly really like myself now. I don’t think I ever had a legitimate relationship with myself before or even registered that there needed to be one. Because of our work together, everything in my life has changed. My confidence and the way I show up has totally changed.
After working with Katrina for 12 weeks, I have gained valuable insight and tools to handle the stress and anxiety that has been holding me back for years. I wasn’t sure what coaching was or how it could benefit me, but I went in with an open mind, and I am so glad I did. Katrina has a way of offering guidance and suggestions without judgment.
Changing my mindset has been such a key in my success. In making a few changes in how I schedule and plan my day, I am able to be more productive and organized. Katrina helped me examine some of the causes of my stress and anxiety, then helped me put together tools to help me address and overcome them.
Katrina and I have been working together for two months. I wanted to express my thoughts and feelings on her Coaching. She does a wonderful job of creating client awareness. She asks critical qestions and brings a warmth and empathetic approach to the environment. I have been able to develop my own skills in personal and professional settings through her guidance. As a male, she has improved my ability to be vulnerable and presented ways to increase my emotional intelligence as well as empathy. It has been a pleasure and honor to work closely with Katrina. I highly recommend you schedule time with her if you are seeking empowerment.
I can’t tell you when I’ve had a more meaningful and revealing discussion. Your critical listening and objective, yet personal response was spot on. Immediately after our meeting, I had to sit for a few minutes with your words, letting them absorb and marinate. As you very well know, you are excellent at what you do! You’ve touched on pain points that are holding me back from living in my truth. I’m now better prepared to challenge my fears.
I didn’t realize that I was only one decision away from completely changing my life. I had 12 sessions with Katrina and it changed my life. At the beginning, I was stuck – caught in brain fog – but through my work with Katrina, I found the answers to get unstuck and move forward (personally and professionally). I made bold moves that improved my life.
“I just wanted to say THANK YOU. I got off the phone and teared up and just thought to myself, why am I waiting to pursue my dream? That was such a powerful and inspiring conversation and I needed that more than you know.”
Katrina is a powerful coach. She gives you the chance to explore where you need to grow and she’s not afraid to help you lean into the discomfort that’s necessary for growth. Katrina will help you go deep to find the route of the problems to help free you up to have more confidence in yourself at the core so you can take this out into the world. She can help you see the things you can’t so that you can be your best version!”
Katrina is a true gem and a real find as a coach. She is empathetic and understanding yet is not afraid to say the hard things that people need to hear to be able to move forward. Her insight was instrumental in me gaining a work-life balance and I am eternally grateful to her for her compassion, wisdom and advice. I highly recommend her for any lifestyle coaching you may need. Also, it is FREE to consult with her to take her up on that offer, you will get real value.
Katrina has had a huge impact on my outlook on life and my ability to see things from a different perspective. She has helped me discover the costs and benefits of stressors in my life and guided me in re-establishing my priorities, in order to live a happier, more balanced lifestyle. I am so grateful to have met Katrina and feel that I have learned so much about myself with her guidance and support.
Katrina has helped me tremendously working through some issues I had been struggling with. She talked me through situations and helped me to see things in a new light that I hadn’t been able to see before, and she helped lead me to viable solutions that have had an amazing impact. With her help, I now have tools in place that I can use and expand upon to get back to the place in life where I can start to grow again.
Katrina is an amazing life coach. She listens and digs deep to get you to see though whatever you are going through. She is kind, supportive, and gives you real advice. “Katrina Murphy is a very skilled coach. She listens thoughtfully and deeply. She considers her words carefully and she makes comments that are appropriate to the situation. She cares about her clients. She is not content to be confined by time. She asks questions and probes with curiosity until the client has reached some resolve. I would recommend Katrina for anyone who is needing some encouragement and support in life transitions.”
“She challenged me…”
“Creating clarity” was one of the greatest challenges for Jon. He had little balance in life when we met, stressed by the demands of business creation and family. Once he allowed his beliefs to be challenged, he was able to understand what was holding him back and create clarity around where he was going. This shift translated into success both personally and in his business.
I can say that the stories we tell ourselves are often difficult to leave behind, but in the end it’s in doing this that we find freedom.
